Car Finance – Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get car finance with bad credit?

Yes, we work with specialist finance providers who help customers with poor credit, no credit history, or past financial issues such as CCJs or defaults. We'll do our best to find a finance deal that suits your individual circumstances.

Will applying for finance affect my credit score?

Our initial application uses a soft credit search, which won’t impact your credit score. A hard search is only performed once you proceed with a lender and give your full consent.

How long does it take to get approved?

In many cases, we can provide a decision the same day. Our finance team will keep you updated throughout the process.

Do I need to put down a deposit?

Not necessarily. We offer zero-deposit finance options, depending on your eligibility and the lender’s criteria. While a deposit can lower your monthly payments, it isn’t always required.

Can I part exchange my current car?

Yes! We accept part exchanges. The value of your current vehicle can be used as a deposit or to reduce the total amount you need to finance.

What documents do I need to apply?

You’ll typically need the following:

  • Proof of ID (e.g. driving licence)
  • Proof of address (e.g. utility bill or bank statement)
  • Proof of income (recent payslips or bank statements)

We’ll confirm exactly what’s required once you begin your application.

Can I settle my finance early?

Yes, most finance agreements allow for early settlement. Please speak to our team or your lender for details, including any applicable fees or terms.
